While I was working at the Christian Law Association one of my responsibilities was to research case files, news articles, and current events for examples of breaches in religious liberties. For a nation that is united under God ("One nation under God") I was amazed at the anti-God decisions from courts, tax payer funded schools, and the general public.
Days on end of this type of research could become quite discouraging. Thankfully I had the opportunity to speak about this and I would encourage myself in the promises of God's word. This is a clip from one of the messages I spoke while representing CLA at a church in the San Francisco area. A reminder to hope and believe in God even when things don't seem to be encouraging in our nation and world.
This is a chapel service at Dade Christian School in Miami. The message is a challenge to rise above mediocrity. A reminder of who we are and what we can accomplish in Christ. This is a shorter full message just under 21 minutes.
This is a sample podcast piece from a CD production of audio Bible illustrations produced for our ministry. This clip encourages students to grow to maturity. Don't allow rules to dictate your relationship with God; make that relationship personal.
This is a clip of an illustration that reminds teens that God's love is not fickle like ours can be. This was preached at a Winter White Out event in Montgomery Al.
This is a chapel message targeted at teenagers who are constantly in the Church, Christian School/Home School atmosphere. Hearing messages and regularly being challenged from God's word can lead to apathy. I regularly run into teenagers who have the "I've heard this before attitude." This message is a challenge to be refreshed in the truth of the Bible and to live the life that God intended, one that's "not normal."
